Situation in Central America

Between 2020 and 2021 were 38 women human rights and environmental defenders were murdered and there were more than 4,000 assaults during the pandemic trans women, activists, feminists or journalists.

More than 1,700 women defenders of environment and territory in the world have been killed in the last 10 years. Of these attacks, 68% have been recorded in Latin American countries.

In El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua abortion is criminalized. In Guatemala, Costa Rica and Panama abortion is only legal when the mother's life is in danger.

What is a Giving Circle?

It is a group of people with common values who come together to create or contribute to change. In Calala Cómplices, the objective is to supporting women's groups in Central America and share space with others women with the same values as you.

What would be my role within Calala Cómplices?

In addition to money, you donate time, contacts, ideas and other contributions. that are relevant to the solidarity circle and the women we support.

Where will my money go?

To the women's groups we support in Central America. Organizations from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, etc.

What contribution is required to join?

To enter the circle you must do the following minimum contribution of 200€. From there, a fixed fee every 6 months of 200€. with the possibility of giving more if you wish.

Will I be able to deduct my donation?

Yes, you can deduct up to 80% of your donation on the first 200€ and thereafter a 35%.

Therefore, of the first 200€ donated, the actual cost of your donation will be 40€. 130 and the second €130. Of the total €400 per year, the actual donation will be €170,
