Humanitarian Association Against the Abolition of African Women (AHCAMA) is a non-profit organisation that works for the eradication of all forms of violence against women, with special attention to the female genital mutilation, the forced marriages and the gender violence.

The association develops actions of awareness-raising, training y integral accompaniment, The violence prevention, the protection of rights and the women's empowerment.

African women building rights: from care to freedom

African women building rights: from care to freedom aims to consolidate SOUDOU - House of the African Woman as a community space for protection, accompaniment and empowerment for African migrant women in Barcelona.

Through rights workshops, actions, actions of violence prevention, self-care circles and the training of community leaders, the project aims to ensuring real access to rights, strengthen the women's leadership and promote their freedom from structural violence, from an approach feminist, community and human rights.
