The Dalia Fund is led by Calala Fondo de Mujeres and driven by social organisations like La Comala S. Coop, Mujeres Pa'lante, Mujeres Supervivientes, Labcoop, Metzineres and Otro Tiempo. Its aim is to support social and solidarity economy initiatives with a feminist perspective. You can find out more about the fund and its objectives here link.
In this call, the Dalia Fund seeks to strengthening the structures of women's organisations in the social and solidarity economy in Spain to deal with precarious situations arising in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Who can participate?
- Cooperatives
- Partnerships
- Foundations
- Worker-owned companies
- Self-employed companies
All shall
- Be composed mainly of women
- Carrying out activities of social and solidarity economy from a feminist perspective and sustainability
- Be formally constituted before 1 December 2020.
Priority will be given to:
- Organisations led by women in vulnerable situations (migrants, survivors of gender violence, prisoners, prisoners, prisoners of conscience, psychiatric patients, sex workers and others).
- Entities with 3 or fewer employees.
What will be funded?
Support will be given to structural needs of the organisations, The total amount to be distributed will be 50,000 euros, The number of participants is divided as follows:
- Donations from up to €3,000 for organisations that have 1 to 3 persons women workers (at least 80% women). These will be prioritised until at least 20% of the available grant budget has been reached.
- Donations from up to €10,000 for organisations that have 4 or more persons women workers (at least 80% women).
Who decides?
According to the criteria defined in the terms and conditions of the call for proposals, the proposals received will be evaluated by a team composed of representatives of the fund promoters.
In the case of conflicts of interest, the entities comprising the driving group shall not take part in the valuation.
Notification
The results of the participatory selection process will be communicated on the website. www.calala.org within a maximum period of one month from the closing date of the call.

Interested organisations that meet the requirements shall:
- Download the basics and the form of the proposal.
- Complete the form (maximum 10 pages).
- Upload the form and supplementary materials in a zipped folder by 30 December 2021 at 23.59 CET in this secure document repository
