At Calala Fondo de Mujeres we are looking for a person to fill the position of Care Manager. The responsibilities of the position cover different areas, including Human Resources management, including volunteering, ongoing training, facilitation and facilitation of team meetings, and team welfare.
The Responsible Care Manager has a major role in achieving the changes that the organisation sets out internally, within its new Theory of Change for 2022, 2023 and 2024.
The responsibilities are:

Human Resources Management
- Implementation and monitoring of the organisation's Caregiving Policy
- Relations with suppliers in the area (labour agency, mutual insurance company, health insurance).
- Monitoring of team schedules, holidays, leave, days off, days off for personal matters
- Monitoring of the workload of the team, time reduction measures
- Participation in the selection process and accompaniment of new recruits during their incorporation.
- Updating the organisation's job profiles
- Updating the organisation chart
- Volunteering Plan. Search and selection of volunteers and/or trainees. Accompanying these people in their incorporation into the team.
- Support in the elaboration and implementation of accessibility measures for people with disabilities in the organisation.
- Continuous training
- Drawing up the organisation's Training Plan
- Identifying the training needs of the team
- Search for training offers suited to the needs of the team.
- Monitoring and evaluation of training
- Facilitation and facilitation of meetings
- Organisation and facilitation of monthly team care meetings.
- Support in the generation of spaces for coordination, collaboration, mutual support and learning.
- Support in the organisation of quarterly team planning and monitoring meetings. With responsibility for care spaces
- Support in the organisation of meetings of the Board of Trustees and the technical team.
- Support to area managers in the needs they may have.
- Team welfare
- Creating spaces and mechanisms for recognition and celebration of achievements
- Detection of conflicts and proposal for management, following the organisation's Conflict Resolution Protocol.
- Support in the implementation of the organisation's protocol on racist and sexist violence.

Knowledge and experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in psychology, social education or similar.
- Studies in Mediation, Conflict Resolution, Culture of Peace or similar
- Training or expertise in decolonial studies and anti-racism
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in team management, group dynamics and/or emotional accompaniment.
- Emotional intelligence and commitment to working collaboratively within a team
- Understanding and ability to deal with sensitive issues, such as power dynamics and gender and racial inequalities.
- Commitment to Calala's mission and role in mobilising resources for feminist movements
- High level of spoken and written Spanish. A high level of English, Catalan and/or Basque would be an asset.
- Knowledge of women's rights, migrants' rights, sexual and reproductive rights, especially in Spain and Central America, will also be assessed.
- Knowledge of the work of women's funds and the philanthropy sector, both internationally and in Spain, will be taken into account.
Conditions of employment
- The selected person will join a team of 10 people, distributed in three offices in Barcelona, Madrid and Bilbao. The person will work in the Barcelona office.
- The Care Manager will work under the supervision of the Executive Director.
- Calala is a foundation with a team made up of women from Latin America and Spain.
- We have a Decolonial Vision Implementation Plan that cuts across all of the organisation's policies.
- We work throughout Spain, Central America and globally.
- Calala offers a full-time contract of 37.5 hours per week.
- The gross salary is 25,600 euros per year, in 13 payments.
