Despite the social impact of women's organisations in the country and their relevant contribution to the advancement of human rights, many of these groups live in the economic difficulties and work in poor working conditions due to difficult access, The lack of access to public and private funding for their projects, due to bureaucracy or lack of technical training, has led to a lack of access to public and private funding for their projects. This is demonstrated by a report carried out in 2023 on 83 organisations led by women across the country.
These organisations provide social services with a feminist perspective in key sectors such as education, home and care, the rural sector, work against gender-based violence, racism and sexual discrimination, among others.




The Dalia Fund is a solidarity initiative that emerged in 2020, during the pandemic, to give responding to economic emergencies of the women's social organisations in Spain. It is a project led by Calala Women’s Fund and driven by seven partner organisations: La Comala, Mujeres Supervivientes, Labcoop, Metzineres, Lacta, Otro Tiempo and Fundación Finanzas Éticas. We currently support more than 30 women's organisations through:
