Results 2nd Call Dalia Fund
With this support we continue our commitment to financing cooperatives and social and solidarity economy organisations, mostly made up of women, who often find it difficult to access other resources and who provide high-impact social services.
With the 51.000€ delivered in this second call of the Dalia Fund, we have already added 130.500€ distributed since the project's inception. In the first call in 2021, we awarded €79,500 to 19 organisations.
The 13 groups selected this year will receive between €3,000 and €5,000 to strengthen their structure and to continue promoting their work in favour of social transformation in areas such as: new technologies, care, education, rural sector and ecology, textile sector, gastronomy, socio-labour insertion, among others. The organisations that will receive funds this year are Mujeres Pa'lante, Pacha Mama, Som la Clau, Xarxa Dones Cosidores, Candela, Coop Micaela, La Creatura, La Comala, Asociación Metik, Mon Banyoles, Outonía, Evalab and Otra Escuela. These groups come from communities such as Catalonia, the Basque Country, Madrid, Extremadura and Galicia.
The Dalia Fund is a solidarity initiative led by Calala Fondo de Mujeres and promoted by six partner organisations: La Comala S. Coop, Mujeres Pa'lante, Mujeres Supervivientes, Labcoop, Metzineres and Otro Tiempo. We also have the backing of a network of 50 member feminist organisations and cooperatives. This union is an example of a pioneering project in the delivery of resources in a collaborative way, which guarantees a democratic and rotating representation of these organisations in the management of the project, allows participation in the decision-making process to deliver the funds, guarantees the transparency of the processes and results, and allows them to play an active role in the search for funding.
Through this project we promote the economic autonomy and social leadership of women because, in addition to being sources of self-employment and employment, women's organisations carry out very important social work with services such as support in cases of gender violence, soup kitchens for people experiencing difficulties, social and employment guidance or training in new technologies. If you want to support organisations that change the world here you can find more information about this initiative and how you can contribute as an individual or as a company.
