Brujas Migrantes is a feminist group formed by Latin American women living in Madrid, many of them are employed in the domestic and care work sector. In 2018 they have continued to offer their litanies, small theatrical performances to make people laugh and reflect. They have actively participated in the Latin American and Caribbean Women's Network and in the Turin Group, in workshops on domestic employment. They have also given talks at venues such as the Carlos III University. Las Brujas have publicly shown their support for women human rights defenders in the Latin American region, calling for their defence and protection, and have been particularly active in numerous actions against the political crisis in Nicaragua.
2018 has seen the consolidation of La Comala, a self-employment co-operative that grew out of the Migrant Witches. Our financial donation has been used for the general support of the collective.
