Minervas is a young women's group in San Salvador, El Salvador, that advocates for sexual and reproductive rights. They carry out community work, trainings through play methodologies and feminist empowerment schools with girls and young women from 10 to 28 years of age in different departments of the country.
In 2018, they have delivered 15 workshops for 25 girls, developed a sexual and reproductive rights process with 20 young people and they have carried out 10 puppet workshops on the same theme. In Minervas they try to distribute the work equally among its members with rotating functions and in this year they have managed to strengthen their internal relations and to add new companions to the collective.
With our financial support they have been able to start the process of obtaining their legal status.
