PROGRAMME MANAGER
Characteristics of the post (Duties)
- Project formulation for public and private institutional donors, including technical and economic aspects.
- Implementation of projects to strengthen women's organisations.
- Technical and economic monitoring of the implementation of projects financed by public and private institutional donors.
- Elaboration of monitoring reports and final technical and economic reports of the projects and programmes implemented by Calala, according to the requirements of the funders.
- Follow-up to women's groups funded by Calala.
- Support to Calala's tracking, monitoring, evaluation and learning system.
- Participation in networks, meetings, forums, associations and other spaces for articulation and advocacy.
- Support in the development of content for the website, social networks and media about the projects implemented by Calala Fondo de Mujeres and partner organisations.
Required and desired training
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences
- Postgraduate studies in subjects related to Evaluation, Gender, Women's Rights, Human Rights, International Relations, Development and Cooperation.
- Specific training in project formulation, management and economic and technical justification.
- Fluency in English. Fluency in Catalan or Basque would be an asset, but is not a requirement.
- Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
- Database management, such as CRM
Required and desired competences
- Commitment to the mission, principles and values of the Foundation.
- Demonstrable skills in economic and technical formulation and management of development cooperation projects. Experience with ACCD is an asset.
- Decolonial and/or intersectional gaze. Anti-racist commitment.
- Good productivity under pressure and deadlines.
- Autonomy and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to organise work and pay attention to detail.
- Capacity for analysis and synthesis.
- Good writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Initiative and creativity.
- Knowledge of the women's and feminist movement in Central America and Spain.
- Knowledge about sexual and reproductive rights, migrant women's rights and/or the right to defend rights.
- Experience in event organisation.
- Willingness to travel frequently (a trip is already planned for October).
Experience required
- At least two years' experience in a similar position.
- Experience of working in third sector organisations, foundations and/or women's funds.
Working conditions
- Lhe person hired will work under the supervision of Calala's Programme Manager.
- The person will work in the Barcelona office.
- 37.5 hours of dedication per week.
- S29,000 gross salary of euros per year, in 13 payments.
