The Radix 2025 Project will support 38 feminist and social justice projects in Spain, with an investment of 1.72 million euros to defend rights, promote community resistance and strengthen activism.

We publish the list of projects selected in the Radix 2025 call for proposals.

From Calala Women’s Fund and the partnership Other Time, In this issue, we announce the results of the 2025 call for proposals of the Radix Project (Roots4Rights - R4R). In this edition, the following have been approved 38 projects with a total of 1.720.000 eurosto strengthen the rights of women, girls and LGBTIQ+ people.

A rigorous selection process

  • The following were received 177 proposals, of which 157 were thoroughly assessed.

  • Each project had two independent evaluators, with a team of 7 specialists.

  • The following were reviewed 19 appeals before reaching a final decision.

Selected projects

Among the projects funded are the following:

  • Defending labour rightsDomestic and Care Workers' Union, Association of Domestic and Care Workers of Zaragoza, SECUIDA-Colectivo Territorio Doméstico.

  • Anti-racism and migrationBiznegra, Afromurcia en Movimiento, Asociación de Mujeres Afrodescendientes Biznegra, Asociación Movilidad Humana, Solidary Wheels.

  • LGBTIQ+ activisms and transfeminismsLa Creatura Transfeminista, Filosa Associació, Les Mercedes SCCL.

  • Sexual and reproductive justiceAprosex, Eroteca Cooperativa, Asociación Humanitaria Contra la Ablación.

  • Culture and community resistanceTabadol , Paral-lel Ensamble Cultural , Asociación cultural La Maloca.

  • Other key projectsJornaleras de Huelva en Lucha, Mujeres Pachamama, Espacio de Investigaciones Feministas La Laboratoria, UbuntuES, Veus Gitanes, Asociación Gitanas Feministas por la Diversidad, Mujer Diáspora, among others.
