«I have two major challenges to meet: attracting, connecting, converting and retaining individual donors, and growing the online presence of Calala»
Sometimes I stop to think about why I want to work in the third sector and I am aware of the freedoms and facilities I have had since I was a child. Precisely, from that privileged situation, I cannot conceive that other women and girls do not have them and that is where my motivation to work to change their situation comes from.
I grew up in a family of teachers and I firmly believe that education is an essential tool for changing the world. Although I always wanted to do it, I did not study teaching, but my path was to educate from another perspective, from social communication, from raising awareness.
Through creativity, we will emote and give voice to the message of female empowerment, leadership and autonomy towards women and men who share the values and philosophy of life of Calala.
I am looking forward to working closely with my programme partners. It is very gratifying to have them as a source of information, knowing first hand what they are doing on the ground. groups we support. And it is challenging to motivate them to get the whole team involved in fundraising and communication.
