From
Calala Women’s Fund, We have been implementing the European project for a year now.
SEE Change in Spain, in alliance with two other European feminist funds:
Mediterranean Women's Fund y
Ecumenical Women's Initiative.
This three-year project aims to
preventing and addressing gender-based violence y
supporting survivors from an intersectional perspective. To this end, we donate to feminist organisations in the following areas
nine European countriesBosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Kosovo, Serbia, Spain and Spain.
What have we achieved in this first year?
In 2024, the three feminist funds are launching a
call for donations addressed to
women's and feminist organisations small and medium-sized enterprises, to finance
projects that prevent and address intersectional gender-based violence. Priority was given to those initiatives that work with
most marginalised groups, ensuring a real and transformative impact.
Thanks to this initiative,
59 organisations have received a total of
1.813.966€ in funding, with individual donations ranging from
10.000€ y 60.000€ to implement their projects over a period of two years.
A key fact:
43 of these organisations have received European funding for the first time., This strengthens the feminist fabric in the region and expands opportunities for action to combat intersectional gender-based violence.
