FemBloc feminist line
What model of care do we want? What support team is the most appropriate? How do we reach the people who might need the FemBloc line? These questions and many more have guided us in the design of the feminist line FemBloc, The project was launched in April until mid-July of this year.. The hotline is coordinated by Alia/Donestech and consists of an expert holistic care team providing digital security, psychosocial and legal support.
With this pilot experience we want, on the one hand, to accompany people who need support and tools, and on the other hand, to test and evaluate which cases arrive, with what needs and characteristics, to be able to shape and adapt the helpline to these needs and generate data to measure the prevalence and impact of this violence.
In addition, we have made available a series of documentation on prevention and response to different types of digital attacks. This documentation has been created by the FemBloc team to provide legal, psychosocial and digital security support. It can be accessed through the following link: https://docs.fembloc.cat/
The learning and data collected during the pilot experience will be systematised in a document of conclusions and recommendations drawn up by the University of Barcelona. The FemBloc Conference will be held in November with the aim of presenting the project and generating spaces for network building and new collaborations with key Catalan, Spanish, European and international actors and institutions. The intention is to give continuity to the FemBloc line so that it can emerge as a stable and sustainable service over time.

Other results of the FemBloc project
During the first part of the project we have focused on the elaboration of the theoretical and methodological framework that sets the basis for the development and implementation of the model for addressing digital male violence. Some of the results have been:
- Legal framework, intersectional and state of the art of digital gender-based violence.
- International mapping of care models: services and hotlines that support people facing digital violence against women and men.
