RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING, EVALUATION AND LEARNING
Characteristics of the post (Duties)
- Design and implement a comprehensive strategy for monitoring, evaluation and learning for Calala from a feminist and decolonial perspective. This strategy addresses both changes in the groups Calala supports, internal changes within the organisation and changes in the context in which Calala works.
- Support Calala-funded women's and feminist organisations in Central America and in the Spanish state to document and share the changes they contribute to, lessons learned and success stories.
- Strengthen the monitoring, evaluation and learning capacities of the Calala team, contributing to the quality of the organisation's work.
- Manage and develop databases, monitoring, evaluation and learning tools and activities.
- Collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data, produce reports and other texts and documents to share results, and create spaces internally and with partners for accountability, reflection, learning and adopting changes based on these results.
- Promote the construction and management of knowledge in Calala. This involves coordinating and developing processes of systematisation of good practices and research that contribute to understanding Calala's impact and contribution to social change.
- Supporting Calala's resource mobilisation and communications through the development of case studies, research of key data and participation in the design of campaigns and communications materials.
- Support the development of proposals for public and private donors by ensuring that indicators and systems for monitoring, evaluation and learning from them contribute to Calala's Theory of Change.
- Support in reporting to public and private donors. .
- Develop, manage and account for the monitoring, evaluation and learning budget in Calala.
Required and desired training
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences
- Postgraduate studies in subjects related to Evaluation, Gender, Women's Rights, Human Rights, International Relations, Development and Cooperation.
- Fluency in English. Fluency in Catalan or Basque would be an asset, but is not a requirement.
- Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
- Database management, such as CRM
Required and desired competences

- Autonomy and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to organise work and pay attention to detail.
- Capacity for analysis and synthesis.
- Good writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Initiative and creativity.
- Knowledge of the women's and feminist movement in Central America and Spain.
Experience required
- At least two years' experience in a similar position.
- Experience of working in third sector organisations, foundations and/or women's funds.
Working conditions
- The recruited person will work under the supervision of the Executive Director of Calala. It can be located at any of the Foundation's three sites: Barcelona, Bilbao or Madrid.
- 37.5 hours of dedication per week.
- S28,000 gross salary of euros per year, in 13 payments.
