It was possible to identify the needs, priorities and interests of this group of women. This made visible the collective motivations, aims and desires of the participants. This enabled them to served as the impetus for the determination to self-organise.
“It is essential to promote these initiatives to highlight the reality of migrant women, and to generate spaces for participation, which are essential to promote coexistence. As a group of migrant women in Catalonia, they will continue to weave links to support each other and strengthen themselves organisationally with their own voice and representation”. The RedMGD colleagues who have been accompanying them in the process point out.
