Thank you to the more than 150 people who attended our event on 15 September on the role of women in social investment. It was a very exciting and constructive day thanks to your high participation and enthusiasm to learn first-hand what women in social investment are. Women's Funds and Giving Circles: innovative feminist philanthropy tools for fundraising.
We were able to enjoy four very powerful women philanthropists:
- MarĂa Palomares Arenas, our Executive Director, spoke about the importance of the Women's Funds as an important Calala in feminist philanthropy
- Rosa Madera, founder and CEO of Empatthy Foundation, expert on Giving Circles as a powerful tool to support the solution of social problems
- Silvia Bueso, author of the method “The Art of Ordering”, who gave us ideas about the capacities to give and to ask for resources that we women have and can develop.
- Rosa Gallego, Director of Community Foundations and International Relations of the Spanish Association of Foundations, who spoke about Community Foundations and how they integrate with Women's Funds and Giving Circles.
